If you're sick and tired of spending tons of money on your beauty regimen, why not make your own products at home? They're often just as effective as the stuff you buy in stores and the bonus is that they're much more natural! Here are a couple of recipes to try that can help moisturize dry skin, make your hair shinier and do just about anything else.

Avocado Carrot Mask This creamy concoction recommended by All Natural Beauty is high in free-radical fighting antioxidants and can improve the look of age spots and wrinkles.

Ingredients: 1 mashed avocado 1 cooked and mashed carrot ½ cup of heavy cream 1 beaten egg 3 tablespoons of honey.

Directions: Blend the ingredients until you get a creamy paste. Apply to your face and neck and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing off. Put any extra in the refrigerator to use again.

Vodka Conditioner Believe it or not, vodka can work hair miracles and transform dull locks into super shiny strands. Check out this recipe suggested by Planet Green.

Ingredients: 1 shotglass full of vodka Your regular deep conditioner will do, but if you want to be all-natural, mayonnaise, eggs, mashed avocado or honey all work as conditioners A few drops of your favorite essential oil.

Directions: Just mix the vodka and oil in with the conditioner, then spread through your hair. Leave it in for 20 minutes before rinsing with cool water. The alcohol lowers your hair's pH levels and closes the cuticles while the oil shines it up.

Honey Cucumber Toner This All Natural Beauty medley will moisturize and refresh your face naturally.

Ingredients: 1 medium-sized cucumber, peeled and cut into small pieces 2 teaspoons of honey.

Directions: Put the cucumber in a blender, then strain with a cheesecloth to collect only the liquid. Fill a container with the juice, then add the honey. Shake it up and use a cotton ball to swipe it on your face in the morning and at night. Store it in the fridge!
